La Presse newspaper found in the "parapais." I have a feeling a brick layer left it there in 1898 to leave the date he did the work. Workers often leave pennies or such, in order to put a date there for years to come. Yes, of course we left a penny hidden somewhere :o)
We have deeds going that far back...
